COME AND JOIN THE FESTIVITIES OF THE 15TH DENPASAR FESTIVAL 2022

Denpasar's annual festival, known as Denfest, is taking place. A creative tourism event which is part of a national festival organized by Kharisma Event Nusantara from 21 December to 25 December 2022.
At a press conference held at Inna Bali Heritage Denpasar on Monday, 19/12, Denpasar Mayor I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara made this announcement. The event was attended by a number of invited guests including the Head of the Denpasar City Forkopimda OPD, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, the City Secretary, IB Alit Wiradana, and the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar. The importance of this festival was explained by I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, the Mayor of Denpasar, and MA Dezire Mulyani, the city's tourism director: For the residents of Denpasar City, "The Light of Beauty" represents the beginning of a new day. Where goodness is distorted in the progress of mankind, the whiteness of reason (Siwam), the blackness of behavior (Satyam) and the whiteness of taste (Rajyam) (Sundaram) are revealed.
According to Jaya Negara, who explained further, the Denpasar Festival, which will be held for the fifteenth time in 2022, has developed into a prototype for other imaginative festivals in Bali. Wherever it is practiced, it becomes a gathering place for various groups to connect and work together, especially Denpasar's creative youth who will later help shape the future of the city.
This year's Denfest isn't just a celebration of arts and culture; it also includes labour-intensive programs that see the creative industry as a usada (or "medicine") to solve crises caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Several different main acts featured at the 15th annual Denfest. Everything, including the opening ceremony, music performances, film screenings, fashion shows, insightful panel discussions, and small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) booths. Acts of other well-known bands will also appear on the main stage. Among them are bands such as Lolot and Band, Nanoe Beroe, Navicula, Joni Agung and Doble T, Pramusti Bali, Dewa Bujana Singing Dharma, and many more. In addition to the Catur Muka Area, the Wantilan Inna Heritage Bali Hotel, Panggunh Gajah Mada, the Badung Market Court, and the Puputan Badung Square, the 15th annual Denfest will feature the work of 622 musicians, 1,049 artists, and 161 leading MSMEs.
While most of the city's top eateries and small and medium enterprises are located along Jalan Gajah Mada, Pasar Badung Court, and Jalan Veteran. As a "meeting point of tradition and modernity, Bali and the Archipelago, oriented towards local and global collaboration, and in an interesting way," said Jaya Negara, "the memory of the past is combined with the vibrations of the pulse of the present and the future, we combine various creativity in clothing adat as the light of beauty.” However, as stated by Dezire Mulyani, the holding of Denfest is expected to improve people's lives through a combination of the creative economy and a modern, dynamic and sustainable cultural tourism industry.
To encourage innovation in all 16 of Indonesia's creative industries and motivate the next generation to preserve the country's rich cultural heritage. Dezire recommended "supporting the distribution of Denpasar's diverse arts, culture, technology and services and entrepreneurial products in national and international markets" to improve the working conditions and quality of life of MSMEs.
As a result of implementing Denfest, Dezire also sees a platform for cooperation between governments, creatives, academia, companies and the general public, with the ultimate goal of destroying a strong and long-lasting local and regional creative ecology. to make it easier for young professionals to connect and work with stakeholders at national and international levels.
"Our goal is for Denfest to continue to be a vehicle for innovation in various disciplines, ranging from art, creative, technology, design, modeling, and others," adding that this will increase Denpasar City's competitiveness and help its economic development.
